Short-term van leasing covers commercial vehicle agreements of roughly 1 to 24 months, against the 3 to 4 years of conventional van contract hire. It comes as a van subscription (rolling monthly after a short minimum term), a short-term van lease (fixed 6 or 12 month contracts) and long-term van hire (rental extended over months). Servicing, maintenance, road fund licence, warranty and commercial breakdown cover are included; you arrange insurance, fuel and any racking or livery. All vans are prepared in Derby, York or Leeds and delivered into London and the boroughs.

Van subscriptions start from one month, with pricing at its best from 90 days and over. Fixed van leases are most commonly supplied on 6 and 12 month contracts. Notice to return a subscription is just 5 working days, subject to availability and blackout periods.
Yes — that's the whole point of what we do. A van subscription rolls monthly after a short minimum term, and a short-term van lease runs for a fixed 6 or 12 months. Neither needs the three to four year commitment of conventional contract hire.
On a van subscription, yes. On a fixed short-term van lease it's optional rather than standard, and your quotation states whether it's been added. Road fund licence, warranty and breakdown assistance including commercial recovery are included either way. Downtime is expensive on a commercial vehicle, so maintenance is usually worth adding.
Racking and shelving are generally fine, provided it's removed and any damage made good before the vehicle goes back. Signwriting needs agreeing in advance — vinyl wraps are usually acceptable, permanent paintwork isn't. Ask before you commit to a livery.
Regularly. New limited companies with no filed accounts get declined by most mainstream funders, and a van is often the first thing a new trade business actually needs. We place these against a larger initial payment or a director's guarantee.
Commonly 1,500 to 2,000 miles per month, with higher allowances available and priced in. Vans typically cover more miles than cars on London delivery and site work, so be realistic at the quote stage — excess mileage charges add up fast on a commercial vehicle.
