Van subscriptions

A van that scales with the workload, not against it

Bring a van on when the work lands, send it back when the job's done. Only insurance, fuel and racking sit outside the monthly figure.

In short

A van subscription bundles a commercial vehicle, its servicing and maintenance, road tax, manufacturer warranty and breakdown cover into a single monthly payment. It opens from one month, sharpens in price past 90 days, and needs just 5 working days' notice to end, subject to availability and blackout periods. The same van stays yours until it's three years old. Insurance, fuel and anything you fit — racking, shelving, signwriting — are down to you.

Who it suits

Built for businesses with uneven demand

Seasonal work

Landscaping, events, agriculture and retail delivery all peak and trough. Run a core fleet on fixed terms and flex the rest month to month.

Contract-led businesses

Won a nine month site contract in London? Take nine months of van. Lost the renewal? Give notice. Your overheads follow your revenue.

Growing trades

One van becomes two becomes four, but rarely on a schedule you can forecast. Subscriptions let the fleet keep pace without three-year bets.

Cover vehicles

A van off the road for repair is lost revenue. A subscription van fills the gap for as long as it takes, then goes back.

Electric van trials

Before committing a whole fleet to electric — and locking in ULEZ compliance — run one for six months and see what the range and charging really look like on your routes.

Project teams

Crew vans for site teams that assemble for a job and disband afterwards. No stranded assets when the project closes.

Frequently asked questions

One monthly payment that folds in the van, its servicing and maintenance, road tax, manufacturer warranty and commercial breakdown cover. There's a short minimum term, then it rolls month to month from there. Insurance, fuel and anything you add — racking, livery — stay with you.

In-stock vans, generally flagged GL or GPC in our system, typically land in 3 to 5 working days once your order's signed and paid, faster if credit's already sorted. Just won a contract with a tight start date? Tell us it and we'll give you a straight answer on whether we can hit it.

Yes, once you're past the minimum term, on 5 working days' notice, subject to availability and blackout periods. That's precisely what a subscription's for: your fleet size tracks the actual workload, rather than the workload having to justify a fleet you're stuck with.

That's the entire use case. Businesses with peaks and troughs — landscaping, construction, events, London delivery rounds — typically run a core fleet on fixed terms and flex the rest through subscriptions.

It can be, though a newly formed limited company will usually need a bigger initial payment or a director's guarantee attached. The upside: you're not locking a brand-new business into a three-year liability before you know how the work's actually going to land.
